There will be a makeshift gateway for folks getting to the battlefield, where Krystal and the rest of the Garb Heralding crew will be checking to ensure that all garb is up to par with the minimums as set forth in the Dagorhir handbook (here). Not only that, but we will also be checking ALL of your weapons, as well as your shields, to ensure they have been put through Weapons Check accordingly. Anyone without properly marked gear, or inappropriate garb will be asked to return to their weapons to their camp and/or to return to camp and return with appropriate garb. The excuse (that YES, I have been told) "I spend all my money on weapons and armor" will absolutely not fly.

We understand that garb standards fluctuate between time periods, personas, etc and will not be "nazi" enough to throw you off the field if you're not wearing a regular tunic. However, a tabard over a pair of khakis and a t-shirt is unacceptable. If you have any questions regarding garb standards, please either E-Mail or PM Krystal on the MidWest Dagorhir forums. I have absolutely no problem in answering questions, or even commissioning tunics and pants! All she requests is that questions are emailed or PM'd before to arrive, and that anyone requesting a tunic or pair of pants, etc - please make that request by March 1st! This will ensure that she gets everyones orders done before the event, so that she's not sewing up a tunic on the sidelines during warm ups on Saturday morning.
